BARBAROUS: using models
Added 2021-07-16 17:33:14 +0000 UTCAround this time last year I decided I wanted to start moving over to Clip Studio and it's been a rough but rewarding process. This has been my THIRD TIME trying to get into Manga/Clip Studio, the learning curve has been really steep... but this time it definitely stuck!!! I'm in it now, I'm finally a FAN OF CLIP STUDIO 🎉
A few years ago, Michael Shilliday (@HawtKoffee on twitter) made an INCREDIBLE 3D model of Leeds as fanart. Once I started toying with the standard 3D models in Clip, we asked him if he'd be willing to rig the model for posing and using as comic assistance asset. It's been SO COOL to be able to have a model of him for thumbnailing. Leeds has a deceptively complex design and he's surprisingly difficult to draw at unusual angles. I'm excited to be able to explore more adventurous camera angles in the future!!
Anyway, please look out for Michael's name in the credits of future print chapters of Barbarous!

2021-07-16 23:10:59 +0000 UTCIt took some digging through tutorials to get him installed but YES, I also didn't know we could do it until we did it! I guess it's not very different from people making 3D models of animals and buildings and uploading them into the CSP shop?
