Matriarch - Process
Added 2023-04-30 18:48:59 +0000 UTCThis turned out to be a really straightforward and fast piece to paint up. Biggest conundrum to solve on this one was I knew that the Matriarch's outfit had some red in it, but wasn't quite sure where. Quite pleased with how it turned out - fun getting the radiosity (reflected red light from the Matriarch's dress) cast in the scene.
Partway through this, realised that she has the same headpiece, virtually, as the Inseminatrix (my last painting), so will consciously change tack on the outfits for the next piece.
