The Dressing Room

Thanks for bearing with me - painting on this piece finally got to its logical conclusion and so it's now time to share everything with you. 

I'll be posting more censored versions on other places, but here are the paintings as I'd prefer you all to see them.

I've had a dream/fantasy of being able to enter this room with The Seamstress - a compassionate and highly intelligent woman with a closet full of fantasies. So when I decided to paint her I realised that I'd like to enter her chamber (after a good shower with in Aqua & Ocea's Wet Room) and try on as many transforming outfits as I could.

(Although I reserve the right to one day go back and visit her again.)

So I began with a base flesh body suit inspired by the Rubber Sisters and let my imagination go wild, adding in clothing to various layers so that I could mix-and-match and dip into my imaginary closet to see what worked.

I love nurse's outfits (to look at, and to fantasise about wearing) and was glad to hear that some of you like them too - so I decided to go for a couple of options. And, since R.O.M. was so generous to open up about some of his fantasies about prosthetics being worn on top of catsuits and the tantalising bulges of strap-ons stretching against hemlines I was only too happy to depict those too (although, R.O.M. I wasn't too sure what kind of length you'd prefer, so you'll see I gave you a couple of options...)

Another couple of little notes - I had to include at least one Beamiersch hood as I think they're gorgeous.  And the long red dress with the Bettie Page hair - well, I had a vivid dream about wearing that exact dress and hair about 10 years ago so it was only fitting that I took that one from the rack too.  (One day when the house isn't quite as full as it is for me right now I'd love to teach myself how to make latex clothing with the ultimate goal being to make this dress.)

This has been a really enjoyable piece to make - a highly technical challenge in terms of being able to draw such a scene, to get the characters and outfits, lighting and reflections to work but a real journey into my own self.

I finally had a revelation last evening while putting the finished touches to these works - that for me, painting is my drag.

As ever - please imagine yourself into viewing these scenarios or into the places of the characters I paint. I prefer painting female bodies but want everyone to fantasise around the paintings - they're dedicated to all the boys & girls & folks inbetween who love to dress up, to escape the real world and for a short while not necessarily be the person they have to be for everyone else.

I've already begun sketching my next piece 'Intimacy' - expect a medical room, a nurse and some breath control...

(Update - one of my followers on Instagram suggested the short nurse outfit would look cool with a different coloured hood...I figured why not?)
