Happy Thanksgiving
Added 2021-11-27 11:33:53 +0000 UTCWe don't have Thanksgiving in the UK, but I still have a lot to be thankful for.
Diving into my art this year so fully has helped give me a place to go that's not constant news reports or reminders of the collective madness that most of the developed world is going through right now. And, by making this profile anonymous it has allowed me to express myself in ways I'd previously felt unable to do as well as allowing my art to stand by itself and be judged on its own merits, rather than based on the work I've done in my IRL career.
It has also afforded me the opportunity to chat with a number of people whose work I've been inspired by for many, many years and to connect with many lovely folks who like myself are inexplicably attracted to things that are to different eyes bizarre and strange.
And I'm continually grateful for the support you guys are giving me, which is helping with the likes of web hosting, as well as being a confidence booster.
So, yep, I have a lot to be thankful for.
And hopefully if you check your feeds now you should be able to access all of my Work-in-Progress posts so you can see the original sketches and steps that I take to make my works.
