Added 2024-10-04 21:22:45 +0000 UTCAccording to the poll I did earlier today, which only confirmed my thoughts on the subject, I've decided to temporarily pause Fusionist Book 7 starting next week and beginning Healer Book 4. If you missed my explanation on the poll, this decision is mainly to ensure I can get Healer Book 4 done and published in late November or early December, as I really don't want to wait until January to get it out. Once the new Healer book is written, I'll be jumping right back into Fusionist Book 7 to finish it, which will have it completed far before the December 27th release date.
I have to finish up a couple of things with Fusionist on Sunday/Monday, which includes editing more chapters and scheduling them on RR for the next month or so, and then I need to do a little planning on Healer Book 4. That means that the first chapters won't be up until Tuesday at the earliest or possibly later. I'm taking Wednesday off to celebrate my anniversary with my wife, but every other day I'll be working on the Healer book.
Thank you all for bearing with me as we switch gears to get the new Healer book finished first! For those of you disappointed by the delay in finishing Fusionist book 7, I apologize -- but hopefully it won't be too long until I can get back to it!

Sunday/Monday: Edit Fusionist chapters and schedule on RR/planning for Healer Book 4
Tuesday: Planning/writing Healer Book 4
Wednesday: Off (anniversary with the wife)
Thursday/Friday: Writing Healer Book 4

I also had the weirdest dream tonight; I was reading/experiencing it and distinctly remember that it was supposed to be a Jonathan Brooks story. It was a guy who was enslaved and turned basically into some dungeon-imp automated worker in the ruins of some kind of desert city that had important treasure/something. There's some time travel involved, and he steals the Dungeon Lord control cloak from the trio of bad guys that enslaved him previously before they can take over the city, and he is now in charge of the city's rebuilding instead. He needs to put up defenses because the organization behind those three baddies is coming while trying to find out what they wanted. There are also some planetary defenses powered by souls (including a girlfriend/former girlfriend?), and he offers them some pseudo-life instead of being in stasis waiting for deployment, so they work with him to animate the imps rebuilding the city. Please tell me you want to write some serious Tower Defense/Dungeon Keeper crossover because that's what my dreams tell me you should!
