Erika's New Perfume, Page 38
Added 2026-01-29 01:58:17 +0000 UTCOh, we had been WAITING for this twist. ^_^ If you knew the original story you knew this was coming and we were pretty eager for it. Like with Marie, Sarah had to be re-designed twice, once for each form, and we wanted her to look a lot spunkier and more energetic in both states. We see that she keeps the side-ponytail from when she was a kid, and has lost the usual brown jacket she wore for one that's blue and green. Much more colorful, which is fitting for the new series' aesthetic. I can't recall if we went into this with Marie, but their toddler forms have a "softness" to them where they have no sharp edges to them, especially not their hair, just to kinda help make them look very adorable and harmless (Erika and Tim have also had that both times they've flashed back to kindergarten). Sarah aging up now has the sharper edges again. One thing that wasn't a huge focus of the original story and got settled on as an idea later is that Sarah is huge; not just big for a grown-up but generally tall and muscular. So wanted her to heft up her kid sister here. ^_^

2026-01-29 15:22:50 +0000 UTCI think it was page 25 when Erika was overthinking in the hall and pooped her pink diaper, it was in the background and in the last panel she looked over at it and said oo whats that, I think in page 28 you see it in her back pocket again before Erika leaves for the store

2026-01-29 15:17:43 +0000 UTCI just noticed she's got the perfume in her back pocket, how it got their remains a mystery. Then again we are detailing aith magic, fairy magic too. It's notorious for being wild and unpredictable, just watch "A Midsummer Night's Dream," on stage preferably.
