Well, every OTHER comic got an update so why not this one? Yeah, like we said, me and Martin really love our dum-dums, so it made since for the next Gym Leader our hero to encounter be Sabrina. That was settled on for a while and the filler showing Sabrina's regression was some last-minute foreshadowing to where we were going next. For those who don't know, Sabrina's stance as Gym Leader for Saffron City was in competition with the Karate Master Koichi who wanted to open a fighting-type Gym. Sabrina battled him for the competition and easily won (Type advantages). With her mental abilities having.... dwindled after her regression it's clear that Koichi figured now would be a good time for a re-match. Again, I like emphasizing that Lance is a good kid, so it's nice to show that he's concerned about Sabrina's current status but also trying his best to be polite. He's still willing to play with her even if they can't have a battle and protests against the idea of her being called a "Dum-dum." Really enjoyed Sabrina's nursery. Martin colored it like the interior of her gym, you can see a rattle that certainly has the ability to consume her attention, a block-and-shape puzzle she can't figure out, and her doll from the anime adaptation. She even still has her Slowpoke!
