Pawberry Pup

When Soup was a pup, they created the Pawberry Cream Pop, a delicious summertime treat made from fresh Pawberry Acres strawberries paired with hand-cranked vanilla ice cream. An instant hit among the neighborhood, the Shepherd family faced considerable pressure from friends and neighbors to sell the pops on a larger scale than little Soup could keep up with. Soup was eventually coaxed into sharing their closely-guarded recipe, and Saint and Strawberry made a deal with a local dairy farm to help produce the pops. All in all it proved to be a massive commercial success, and Pawberry Pops are currently available for purchase at your nearest neighborhood supermarket~

Soup has….mixed feelings about their homemade venture becoming a cheaply-made mass-produced artificially-flavored chunk of pink ice on a stick, but….the revenue generated from Pawberry Pops was, for many years, the main thing keeping the family farm afloat after Saint’s untimely death. So Soup supposes they can’t truly hate their frankenstein creation too much. Still, they’d really rather you swing by Pawberry Acres to try an authentic Pawberry Cream Pop. Full fat, full flavor….full cost. (What? A farm doesn’t pay for itself…)

As an adult, Soup is an actual trained chef, but presently is in charge of all of Pawberry Acres’ commercial food production ventures. Strawberry pies, candies, jams, jelly, juice, liquor, etc…Soup oversees it all. Quiet and unassuming, they are the backbone that’s allowed the floundering farm to survive this long.

You know reading this again I wonder, does your verse have "food mascots" that's the name? Not necessary fantasy more like how some cookies have a sweet grandma as their logo. I'm asking cuz I wonder since in your universe there's still discrimination and stereotypes, is there's some not so ehm good names/illustrations that are very problematic today but also it's obvious that's from the past. For example like the racist caricature in the past, you know the black & white and some color on how those were use in stuff for cooking, cleaning, etc. I remember from some old magazines my grandma have, and sure there's wasn't racism but Jesus the xenophobia and sexism was almost hilarious and sad at the same time. Also it's because I still remember how even for all the ignorance I'm surprised some caricature for food in our country using people of other races/culture weren't as problematic as I thought, for example there's this very famous brand in Chile called "Negrita" (again in my language spanish is a loving word like darling, sweetie, honey, etc literally is like "little black girl/lady" but even people that their skin is white as snow use it as a loving nickname for each other partners, so isn't use literally, it means for us a informal dear), is traditional condiment, very importat in the Chilean cuisine, a mixture of spices, it was invented in the 1940, and the imagen of the brand is the drawing of a pretty black skin lady. Honestly if we compare the difference how usually other people non-white where portray in that time, also Chile have a lack of exposition to afro people in general in those times, is a normal vintage drawing. I wonder if other countries have things like that, I'm really curious, cuz art in publicity is also part of our culture soooo it's almost like a time line.
