gasp... i was half correct... i wonder how Tibbs feels about somewhat being related to a rockstar. i imagine Mona goes "oh my sister and her husband are visiting" and then he does a comical spittake when he opens the door to Bal of all things LOL.

Mona will give his music a polite listen but finds it gives her a pounding headache. Seeing him perform live in concert complete with flashing lights and pyrotechnics probably would make poor Mo faint. Muriel just calls her a scaredy-goat.

He was one of my faves in your old verse and I’ve liked his evolution! Will he still be friends with our deer siblings or are all his relationships getting reworked too? 👀 (if it’s not spoilers of course!) That’s sad about his dad though/Mona’s best friend. That would be so hard, no wonder she wanted to move far away. Also, I love all the non-conventional families you show! My parents never got married and split up when I was like 5 but stayed friends and they are still friends today, and everyone I tell always thinks that’s so strange xP

I'm not sure if he'll be a horse or a sheep now, but he's getting an overhaul in his career and design and relationships with other characters. Anyway, Mona conceived her son with the help of her longtime friend and roommate, Roald. Mona was never very good at talking to ladies, so she finds herself at a loss when she enters her 30s and finds herself without a partner to start a family. Roald had never been interested in women period, but shared Mona's wish for a family, so he made for an obvious pick for sperm donor. For a while they were a happy, if somewhat unconventional, family, living in their tiny Lambden cottage. Mona worked as a school teacher and sold crafts at fairs, while Roald worked as a chef and fostered their son's burgeoning interest in the culinary arts. Unfortunately all good things come to an end, and Roald falls unexpectedly ill and passes away. Devastated by the sudden loss of her oldest friend, Mona decides to pack up and move far, far away from that empty, lonely cottage. Teddy and Lulu actually have a phenomenal relationship, Tibbs is quite jealous over it in the beginning and feels that golden boy cooking student Teddy is trying to replace him in Lulu’s eyes (he's not, Teddy's just really nice).

And if sheep/goats/sheepdogs were the most common in Lambden, did Mona do some traveling to find the father or did she just choose to do an artificial insemination route? I’ve loved seeing Mona when she pops up, and I’m really curious how she got from Lambden to FB’s main town, especially with her working as a teacher!

Lulu is a pig, loves to eat, loves having fresh cream, butter, cheese, ice cream, etc all regularly hand-made by her wife. But also who knows what these two get up to in their private lives

Mona is an English goat with a bit of myotonic goat in her bloodline, making her a "fainting goat". Mona has myotonia congenita, which causes her seize and fall over when startled, excited, or frightened. Seeing as Mona is naturally shy and meek, she faints a lot. Lulu, being a mega extrovert, is frequently frustrated with her wife's anxious, avoidant behaviors, but will never fail to notice when Mona needs a break from being social, and she never fails to catch Mona when she faints!
