So instead they have what I'm tentatively gonna call "Rock Block", which comes on when they're depressed. Like Pinkie Pie, their mane deflates, their coat loses its color, and they become lethargic and anxious. And like Pinkie, they develop the unsettling tendency to talk to inanimate objects. Cupcake can also suffer from rock block. The only way out is plenty of love and support, which the Pie family has in spades, fortunately
