In her younger years, Blossom befriended Bulk Biceps, but never meant for their relationship to be anything serious. She wanted to focus on becoming a Wonderbolt. She was startled and terrified when she came up pregnant, and fled back home without a word. Unsure what to do and paralyzed by anxiety, she tried to pretend everything was fine and concealed the pregnancy as long as possible.
By the time Bulk finds her again, she's distraught, she's waited too long and her options have narrowed, whatever is she going to do with a baby? She doesn't know the first thing about being a mom! She's tanked her career before it even took off! What is she gonna do?
So Bulk offers to raise the baby himself, to give her back her freedom. Blossom is infinitely grateful and seizes Bulk in a big wailing hug. Bulk ends up raising little Featherweight on his own (with his BFF, Derpy). Blossomforth was not present in Feather's life, though she did start sending Bulk support checks when she found her footing as a Wonderbolt. Bulk is proud of how far she's come and doesn't feel negatively toward her in the slightest.
