at night i like to listen to documentaries and scribble out like a million thumbnails of drawings i wanna do later. The characters in the thumbnails tend to have way goofier, over-the-top expressions than what I normally do, and I tighten that up for the polished sketch. I decided not to do that here and left Rarity's face exactly as stupid as it was when the idea first left my head
she has a BABIE! she and Applejack MADE her! Just yesterday she was still a bun inside AJ's oven but now she's OUT and they get to meet her! the birth was GROSS and but babie is here and soft and perfect, oh absolutely utterly perfect, darling!

2020-04-30 00:58:40 +0000 UTCI think AJ especially would want more than one kid, but I don’t feel comfortable doing that cuz Peachy, Magnolia, and Truffles are still underdeveloped, I don’t wanna throw in a whole new character. I considered a story where they conceived another baby but lost the pregnancy, leaving them too traumatized to try again, but that just feels pointlessly sad. Yes, you can design one if you want to, I’d love to see it :)

2020-04-29 20:12:56 +0000 UTCRarity's expression is A++ here XD. And Applejack looks BEAUTIFUL I'm surprised to see that Maggie was actually a good sized baby! I always pictured her like humorously small coming from such a big mare but I actually love that she was considered big as a newborn. Everyone kind of assumed seeing her size and that her fetlocks resembled a draft's "feathers" more then a unicorn's flowly foot locks that she'd turn out big and jacked like her momma....nnope. She just kind of...never grew after that and developed dainty features. Maggie is quite mortified by her baby pictures but her mothers insist that she was the cutest chub baby ever
