I was surprised to see some people asking that since Phoenix had a bad relationship with her mother and brother, if she hated Cloudy too. I think Phoenix herself would be indignant at this assumption, 'cause....that's her baby sister you're talking about

Cloudy was a sickly baby and has had asthma since she was a kid. It's less frequent in her adulthood, but sometimes a bad attack gets triggered by stress, or when she overdoes it a little skateboarding. Phoenix has sharp eyes and ears when it comes to her sister's slightest wheeze, even when Cloudy waves it off as nothing to worry about. You need your inhaler? Got it right here. Is your blood sugar low? I got a snack in my pack. Need to go lie down? I'll carry you. Phoenix never smokes around Cloudburst (Stormy gets huffy at how fast she'll toss her cigarette at the sight of their sister, why won't she do that for him?), and likes to change clothes before going to see her.

Cloudy likes to tease Nix about the fussing, but sometimes, well....sometimes Cloudy doesn't mind it so much. In any case, she and Phoenix wouldn't trade each other for the world.
