Happy New Year! (& Warptorio Blueprint Book & Savefile)
Added 2023-12-31 15:00:36 +0000 UTCHappy New Year everyone!
I'm busy working on Warpzone 4, which is quite a package to edit, as I want to take a deeper dive to explore the blueprints I'm using. I have finished writing and recording the script, and it all amounts to a scary length of voice script audio material... It's longer than the actual warpzone playthrough, so I'm likely going to have to cut/summarize a couple parts, but we'll see how that goes as I try matching the footage with the voice script lol.
Speaking about blueprints, below you can find the first iteration of my warptorio blueprint book, and the initial unplayed save file of my warptorio youtube playthrough.
So, it's there if you wanna give it a go yourself :) You don't need to play the breakneck pace I'm doing to be able to use the blueprints, but obviously the blueprints are tailored to the general order in which I'm doing things (so for instance, there's no platfrom defense blueprint or stone furnace smelting setup, as I skipped the need for those)
Anyway, I hope you enjoy, and I'll try to get warpzone 4 out as soon as I can.
Thank you all for your support in 2023, and I wish you all the best in 2024!
Michael

PS: my discord post about the blueprint book:
Includes the initial blueprints (used in warpzone 3/4). To account for the "small adjustments" I have in my head, I added detailed descriptions and I made some small updates to the blueprints compared to what you see in the video, to solve some known/future issues
(especially to the mining platforms (L+R are slightly different due to mining output on perpendicular belt asymmetry), and to the boiler room (solved any requirements to micromanage pumps (now is foolproof), and solved a future power pole despawn which kills the entire base (I should've probably done that before playing through/recording warpzone 4, but oh well))

Happy new year, Michael! PS. Based on the vid for warpzone 3, you were moving the blueprints around.... The factory floors are always at the same coords, and snapping the blueprints to an absolute grid makes them trivial to place.
