You'll never have that lifestyle, never be beautiful, never be desired - and yet you're supposed to look up and admire. It's not part of our collective history. It's new. Celebrity requires the mass media to bombard you with content. Like everything else, our human progress is immediately bent to the purposes of evolution: making sure losers like you never reproduce.
