Hi friends,
After one of our biggest updates yet (0.8.4), this one might feel smaller, but there's a lot happening under the hood that might not be immediately obvious.
First, we've implemented the "Follow Me" mode, recently introduced in the PC version. Just open the Interaction Menu, go to "Walk > Follow," and your Hottie will stay right on your tail.
The AI also received an important improvement. We’ve upgraded some of the most important parts of our AI: the LLM (language model) and the TTS (text to speech) module. What does this mean? Better conversations, more realistic voices, and more nuanced personalities.
While it may take a little time to get used to, these changes have significantly impacted the voices. We still believe it’s a big step forward—otherwise, we wouldn’t have released it! 😉
The editor now reached slider parity with our PC version. Apart from a few highly demanding features like certain hairstyles and clothes, the Quest version is now just as powerful as its PC counterpart.
Male Hotties also got some love! We've added more hairstyles, body hair options, and the ability to rotate the Hottie during positioning.

Known Issue:
Hottie getting stuck in small gaps between walls/furniture
little green Ball from Interaction Menu not vanishing after switching from Handtracking to Controllers

You can start with a male Hottie and then use the slider in the Main Menu > Hottie > Shape > Body > Female Shape

In order to create good looking Hotties we had to get rid of environments and the Player Body. The Quest is not powerful enough to run everything in a decent quality.

The "normal" voice still works, but not the AI. Any ideas on how to fix it? I already tried uninstalling and re-installing.

2025-02-15 09:05:53 +0000 UTCThis is fantastic! I’ve been a VR HOT user (PC version) since last Thanksgiving and have been enjoying the updates. I tried the previous version on a Quest 2 and it was unusable. I recently tried this version on a Quest 3 and it’s a pretty amazing experience. The AR experience feels more natural than the PC version. One small nit: the images tiles from the imported hottie cards should be cached in the main screen. Every time I visit the Hottie Cards menu, they have to load and it seems to use a lot of compute to do this. Keep up the great work!
