2nd March Newsletter

Hey Patrons,

I have a few announcements to make today.

First, it's my birthday. I know. Shocking. I don't really celebrate my birth anymore, but I've been getting lots of well wishes on Facebook, Twitter, Discord, and my phone. Figured I'd let you all know.

Okay. Now that that's out of the way, we can get to the meat and potatoes of this newsletter.

I'm sure you all know about what happened between me and Amazon. My decision to expand my digital publishing has finally begun. A Most Unlikely Hero Volume 1, WIEDERGEBURT: Legend of the Reincarnated Warrior Volume 1, and Man Made God 001 are or will be available on iBooks, Kindle, Kobo, Nook, and Google Books. I'll begin uploading more books onto all these platforms in the future.

For the record, you can still buy my books on Amazon Kindle. You just can't read them on Kindle Unlimited due to KU's policy of requiring authors to remain exclusive with Amazon.

Next up, I have redesigned my website in preparation for expanding my digital distribution; you can check out my new webpage here: www.varnell-brandon.com.

The next thing I want to discuss is Twitch. I'm planning to be a bit more active on Twitch when I can, especially when Genshin Impact has a new update like it does now. Because I probably won't be able to plan this out, you likely won't be notified here on Patreon. I recommend anyone who wants to join me join my Discord, follow me on Twitter, or subscribe to my Twitch Channel.

That said, I will be streaming some time tomorrow between 1-2 pm Mountain Standard Time if you want to mark that on your calender.

I might begin playing other games as well, but I'm sticking with Genshin Impact for now because this game saved my life. And no, I'm not joking. I had briefly contemplated suicide when Amazon terminated my author account last year. This game kept me sane during my darkest hour.

Next, I will still be doing an end of the month Twitch stream, but it won't be video games and will be more like a hang out instead. I'll probably do some reading of A Most Unlikely Hero 9 since that came out this month. Maybe you'll even hear me do a rich girl bishoujo laugh if you're lucky.

Last but not least, I wanna talk about Severing Time & Space, the light novel series that will replace WIEDERGEBURT once I've finished posting every chapter here on Patreon.

I'm making great progress at creating the world, lore, the cultivation system, and character bios and backstories. Not only have I been working hard to create a solid world that's fully fleshed out before I begin earnestly writing the story, but I've hired Mikael Asikainen to create a map of this world for me. You can see the WIP of it below.
