April 1st Newsletter

It's the start of a new month, which means more news!

Let me begin by saying that a few days ago, Amazon removed one of my books from their catalog. Apparently, they found a website that had posted WIEDERGEBURT: Legend of the Reincarnated Warrior volume 1 and made it free to read, which violates their content guidelines. They did not believe I owned the rights to my own story and therefore removed it AND suspended my account, meaning I was unable to publish.

To make a long story short, I was able to resolve this issue, but the process involved staying up for 24 hours talking to Amazon to convince them that I was indeed the copyright holder and the website stole my story. It was very stressful.

I would like to ask that if any of you see a website hosting stories by your favorite authors, please report it. Not only is this illegal, but a lot of us authors are dependant on book sales for survival. No sales, no survival. If we can't publish our books, then it means readers will no longer get new content from us, and no one wants that.

Now onto the more pleasant news.

A Fox's War and WIEDERGEBURT: Legend of the Reincarnated Warrior 3 will be published this month. A Fox's War will be out on April 7 and WIEDERGEBURT 3 will be on April 14. Be sure to mark this on your calender.

And now that American Kitsune season 1 is done, I plan on working with my artist to adapt the light novels into a manga series, which will be made available to select Patrons for now. I hope to eventually publish the series, but it won't happen for awhile.

I'll be continuing to regularly update my Patreon with more chapters, monthly artwork, and these newsletters every so often. I hope that you can all be at least moderately entertained during this pandemic. Please remember to remain safe.
