This beast has been sucking up all my time
Added 2022-03-24 17:20:01 +0000 UTCWhich I think I've shown a WIP of already but man, I'm still chipping away at it. Nothing is really 'done' yet, except the area of Guster's Sweets which is high enough in detail and TBH sucking in the eye (and it is not the focus) so I've got to get the rest of it up to speed and then really dig into the main characters--the three up front.
The rabbits are also just too much specific detail. I'll either have to remove some of that contrast or just add more into the background, or both.
This illustration is very new for me and so it's not only taking up a lot of hours simply in working but a LOT of brain power trying to get it the best it can be at the level of skill I am now.
It's also been, how to put it, terrifying? Because this person is sinking 2K into this illustration and I want it to be absolutely, beyond a doubt worth that kind of cash, and man, that's hard.

This looks amazing so far, I love it and the concept. The carolers and rabbit family especially caught my eye. I know they're perhaps not supposed to be the focus, but that kind of detail made me want to know more about them - and that pulls me more into the scene.
