I've had some dry periods where I was feeling discouraged by how wonkily patreon is set up (not great messaging and the scam pledges) and when I was super stressed out. I'm grateful to all of you who stayed.
So here's what's up this spring and summer. I submitted my art to the Dragoncon jury and if they accept I'll have show space as well as a table. So anybody who's going please come see me! If I get in.
IF I get in, that also means I need to make extra artwork. I figured it out and it looks like I'm going to need something like 60 paintings for both AC and DC. The good news is that you will get to see all the paintings and progress work. The bad news is that, because these are bigger than I usually paint, it'll take a few days to get each one done.
The other bad news is that I've been feeling a conniption of anxiety about it. I work small and fast so I don't have to commit to any one work and now I do. So far the two I've finished I'm semi-proud of so that's a start.
I've done some sketches and other things that I failed to upload here because it didn't feel 'good enough' and I didn't want to spam you guys with junk, but I think I need to get over that so 1. You know that I AM working and 2. maybe you'd like to see my derp art anyway.
Also if anybody is curious as to what I do with my 'free time' (what I have of it) I can upload the odd cooking experiment and other projects.
