DRAGONBALL Z Golden Age - Chapter 8 Cover Art Redesign
Added 2023-06-11 06:54:34 +0000 UTCIn preparation for the next coming chapter of Golden Age, I did a detailed, SFW redesign for the chapter. Granted, I love the one with the five villains in the background and Fasha's glorious backside in view, since I'll be walking around with this cover on the front of my folder, I prefer it to be a bit more appropriate.
ADDITIONALLY, The Man in Black is gonna have a strong influence over the coming events. Given he is and HAS been the main, overarching threat since the beginning of Golden Age and will continue to be a threat until the end of the Buu Saga, it's fitting to have him featured in the cover art as well.
The Man in Black is a powerful figure- the most powerful in the series so far (even more so than Fasha, despite her abilities and immortality). He is also incredibly dangerous. However, his full allegiance at this point is mostly unknown to everyone who has met him thus far. As you can tell from him hanging out with the Briefs family and enjoying chats with them, it's safe to say he is a very Chaotic Neutral force in this universe.
And, given how I drew him in this cover, he is clearly going to be the chief orchestra and puppet master of the events that will soon be taking place.

2023-06-11 12:07:56 +0000 UTCThis kind of cover’s good too, it brings focus to the next trials our hero faces and The Man In Black being placed in the background feels more fitting for the stories perspective, 😅 and as far as his alignment goes chaotic, whatever the hell he wants he still scares the shit out of me
