Yes, this is a good point about father Mike. It's hard to know someones motives. Yet, he does speak rather confidently about it though. Almost as though he was relying on his own understanding and perceptions. hmmmmm.....

I will say though, perhaps father Mike is as much a victim as a perpetrator. Not saying it makes it OK, just that I genuinely believed fucked up stuff when I was in the religion, and if he thinks he's helping he might not be after power for himself, just perversely selling the poison thinking it's the antidote.
