Bots
Added 2017-10-10 18:00:25 +0000 UTCCan patreon already make me a "trusted" user or just do something about bots. I'm getting tired of all these stolen gmail accounts pledging. Been on Patreon for about 4 years and still not considered trustworthy enough by Patreon staff since this "Pay First" option as FAQ suggests is currently in beta and only trustworthy patreons have it. Everyone else has no option right now to save their time fighting with bots. Last month for instance these were 13 patreons with 60 usd of pledges total and I actually fell for it. This month it's 5 with 40 usd already and they won't even hop into "fake" pledges I tried to make to bait them (so I removed these because it ruined aesthetics).

I have pay first. It works pretty well for me, perhaps just wait a bit for it to be publically released
