2025-05-17 08:21:38 +0000 UTCThe director and writer of Heavyweights also did The Mighty Ducks franchise. That film franchise is actually great, and Emilio Evestez is amazing as Coach Gordon Bombay. It also helped a few actors get their start in the business as child actors: Joshua Jackson (Dawson’s Creek and Fringe), Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson from Daredevil), Keenan Thompson, and Michael Cudlitz (Abraham in The Walking Dead). Joshua and Elden were in all 3 films, Keenan was in D2 and D3, and Micheal was just in D3.
