It’s just a dumb comedy with an oversimplification of a concept that skews a bit too close to eugenics but not out of malice from the filmmakers. I just think they wanted to make a funny movie with a broad concept. But that’s just my opinion. I just like the movie cause of the stupid jokes not as an actual forecast of future or even current events, even tho it is funny to compare the irl silliness.

Fun fact everyone in the future is wearing crocs because they wanted a shoe that was dumb and futuristic looking. They didn't think anyone would actually wear. They used a small company called crocs and.......... Life imitates art I guess.
