2023-08-06 13:22:36 +0000 UTCI just realized the opening shots (and sort of music) at the beginning of episode 8 is clearly a take on the opening of Orson Welles' Touch of Evil. I had not seen that film when I first saw this episode, but there is no mistaking it now that I have.
