Would love to see "Warrior" on the list, with Tom Hardy and Joel Edgerton. Such a great movie, really think you'd lik eit

2022-01-04 15:45:24 +0000 UTCClocking it in here: we got The Predator & The Last Crusade, and for Friday we’ll do Harold & Maude.

2022-01-03 03:22:56 +0000 UTCI'm doing the same thing.

2022-01-02 23:11:28 +0000 UTCQuite surprised that Tommy Boy didn't get more votes before. It's one of the top 5 comedies made in my opinion.

2022-01-02 23:09:43 +0000 UTCYep Unforgiven for sure

2022-01-02 22:18:13 +0000 UTCKevin, I think you are my spirit animal lol. I love Manhunter. As much as people like The Red Dragon, Manhunter is better and not just cause of 80s William Petersen lol. I would have to say Hannibal Rising was pretty good too :)

2022-01-02 09:55:33 +0000 UTCA couple movies I would highly recommend: 1) Manhunter. Michael Mann's first film, and the first time Hannibal Lecter showed up on film. Unsurprisingly, the soundtrack is great, and there's several fantastic performances. 2) Unforgiven. One of, if not *the* best Western, ever. Won 4 Oscars, including Best Picture and Best Director for Clint Eastwood. Gene Hackman won for best supporting actor.

2022-01-02 08:34:49 +0000 UTCDark City (Directors Cut) and Goonies. Tough choice though because Harold and Maude and Chinatown and Primal Fear.
2022-01-01 01:51:22 +0000 UTCChinatown, Harold and Maude and Excalibur :)

2021-12-31 19:14:23 +0000 UTCIf you ever do get around to watching DARK CITY, be sure to watch the Director's Cut. The Theatrical Cut just reveals everything in the first 5 minutes.

2021-12-31 06:24:18 +0000 UTCdude. can we please get Primal Fear to second place? I mean yes Predator is iconic but I feel like Primal Fear has been on the poll forever and, I mean, come on. it's Edward Norton. lol.

2021-12-31 04:59:36 +0000 UTCYay, Excalibur made the list - though it does't seem to be a popular choice yet... Excalibur and Chinatown for me.

2021-12-31 04:35:34 +0000 UTCJames, I've been meaning to ask: how do you view these films? Are you streaming/Blu-Raying to a 4K TV or large screen attached to your computer or what? Obviously, there are more streaming options in the US than here in Aus but are you viewing them in at least high def/4K? Just wondering.
Brett Coster
2021-12-31 04:01:15 +0000 UTCYep, 10 Rillington Place would be awesome. First time I think that I saw John Hurt (just checked IMDB, he was earlier in A Man for All Seasons, but not as extensive a part as 10 Rillington Place).

2021-12-31 03:45:19 +0000 UTCLots of great movies but I’ll pick Harold and Maude until you make it a Friday flick.

2021-12-31 03:06:35 +0000 UTClet me help with that. Dark City

2021-12-31 02:56:51 +0000 UTCcan we consider bringing back ‘into the wild’ 2007 on the polls in the future? giving it one more shot? i just know you’d love it 🙏🏽

2021-12-31 02:52:09 +0000 UTCJust checking before I vote for 10 Cloverfield Lane; have you already seen Cloverfield?

2021-12-31 01:46:20 +0000 UTCIf you haven't found it yet it's at the beginning of August. If you're on someone's patreon page and not your home page you can type in a search bar for posts on the upper right of the screen.
2021-12-31 01:39:11 +0000 UTCI got excited for a second because I thought I saw 10 Rillington Place and was like "Wow, this movie is weirdly more beloved than I thought." But yeah, Last Crusade this time. Kinda unfair leaving you hangin in the trilogy. Seems like it could pull through at this point

2021-12-30 23:19:50 +0000 UTCWait did I miss Temple Of Doom? When did that happen? I'm running as much as someone can "run" online to search and find it. My night just got incredibly better if this reaction exists.........

2021-12-30 22:19:12 +0000 UTCWhere did all the Chinatown support go?
Yours truly, Johnny Dollar
2021-12-30 21:58:15 +0000 UTCI voted across the board for a number of this list: Indiana Jones & Last Crusade (really was the best to end it on) Primal Fear (Edward Norton's arrival on cinema) Chinatown (one of the best original scripts based on the Rape of Owens Valley in 1907) Goonies (absolute classic) Predator (the strength off that cast) Die Hard 2 (which is even better when watched back to back with Die Hard) Nobody (a new classic) Excalibur (one of best tellings of the King Arthur mythology by John Boorman with a very young, upcoming excellent cast)
Jon Bradley
2021-12-30 21:54:28 +0000 UTCOk I get predator, I get last crusade, 10 cloverfield land getting so much love here over legit classics is just tough to watch. It’s fine btw but like Harold and Maude exists…c’mon bahahahaha

2021-12-30 19:50:59 +0000 UTCSo many films that have been done to death by other reactors\reviewers. Give some love to the underdogs for a change. (Can I vote for Primal Fear three times?)
2old4gamez
2021-12-30 19:48:04 +0000 UTCCan I vote for 'Harold & Maude' twice? I'm guessing not so I'm only voting for it so as not to give another film on the list any more of a lead than it has. 50th anniversary bluray just came out so I gotta get that.
2021-12-30 19:31:10 +0000 UTCCODA is great. Definitely recommend it, specifically to second generation Americans (or any other country) whose parents didn't speak English (or the native language) well. I didn't expect how relatable this film is.

2021-12-30 19:04:37 +0000 UTCGoing Last Crusade and Goonies. James, also sometime might check out CODA on Apple TV+. One of the best films this year and and getting a lot of awards love this awards season. Currently pretty much a lock for a Best Picture nomination and currently the frontrunner for Best Supporting Actor currently for this coming Oscars. Film is also very funny and emotional. Think you would really like it.

2021-12-30 18:49:19 +0000 UTCPredator is one of those "must sees" for anyone who proclaims they know what an 80s action movie is. (and thank you for adding the year because this IP suffers from horrible mass-rebooting)
