In this time, we have some exciting news to share about the ARJARIM Left Upper Shoulder IED PRESET. Get ready for some epic updates!

- The Left Upper Shoulder Preset aims to reposition the equipment, with a focus on placing the shield on the left upper shoulder. Let's dive into the key changes and improvements made in this update.

00:19 [IED - Extra Skeleton Nodes Integration]

- The most significant change in this preset is the integration of the IED - Extra Skeleton Nodes, a groundbreaking feature that revolutionizes equipment placement. Using this new technology, we have now positioned one-handed swords on the character's hips. Both the left and right one-handed swords are aligned on the hips, creating a visually appealing and symmetrical look. The swords are slightly tilted for a more dynamic and realistic appearance, making your character stand out on the battlefield. No more awkwardly placed weapons cluttering up your character's back!

- But that's not all! Here comes the exciting part. One of the major changes in this preset is the addition of condition values to the shield, perfectly complementing the EVG Conditional Idles system. Now, when it rains in the game, your character will dynamically hold the shield in their left hand, offering protection from the elements. Not only does this provide a realistic touch to your gameplay, but it also allows your character to shield their head from the rain, adding an extra layer of immersion and attention to detail. Imagine the visual impact as your character bravely faces the storm, shield in hand!

- Let's talk about the mighty mace. In this update, we've repositioned the mace to the character's back, just outside the shield. We took into consideration the thickness of the shield's blade, ensuring that it doesn't protrude and disrupt the overall aesthetic. While removing other equipment may result in the mace being slightly further away from the character, rest assured that it won't create a jarring or out-of-place feeling. The mace still maintains its intimidating presence, ready to strike fear into the hearts of your enemies.

- Dagger enthusiasts, fear not! We've kept the placement of the dagger consistent with the beloved knee-dagger style. No changes have been made in this regard, allowing you to continue executing swift and deadly moves with confidence.

While the placement remains the same, we've made crucial adjustments to ensure that the sword no longer pierces through your character's body. - Archers, this one's for you! Just like the two-handed greatsword, we've repositioned the bow to minimize any sense of the arrow piercing through your character's body. - And let's not forget about crossbow enthusiasts! In this update, we've made further improvements to the crossbow's positioning. It is now slightly tilted to better align with the mace, creating a more harmonious and cohesive appearance. - Lastly, let's discuss non-player characters (NPCs). We understand the importance of maintaining consistency and visual aesthetics throughout the game world. With that in mind, we've carefully adjusted the sizes of NPC equipment to minimize any drastic changes. Additionally, to avoid clutter and maintain a clean look, the left-hand equipment for NPCs will no longer be displayed on their backs. This decision was made to ensure that the equipment arrangement remains visually appealing and doesn't overwhelm the NPC's appearance.

III. Installation

1. Place the 7z file in the Skyrim\data folder or

Put it in the Mod organizer\overwrite folder.

2. After accessing the game, open the Immersive Equipment Displays setting menu (Default: Shift + Pagedown)

3. When the settings menu appears, go to File -> Import/export.

4. This will bring up a menu where you can import presets. At this time, if you click the arrow next to Files, Preset will appear. Select it and click Import.


IV. About Equip/ UnEquip Animation

Based on viewer feedback, we added equipment animations from the Arm shield preset to enhance the Left Upper Shoulder IED preset.  Equipment animations are now available by default for daggers, two-handed swords, and axes. For one-handed swords and shields, you can use the 1hm_equip and 1hm_unequip files located in the Right hand - on Back Hip with Shield folder within the Weapon Styles - Draw-Sheathe animations. Make sure to include these files in your setup for optimal results. (for one-handed swords and shields, 1hm_equip and 1hm_unequip files in Right hand - on Back Hip with Shield in Weapon Styles - Draw-Sheathe animations are 8001020 and 8101020 You have to put it in a folder and use it)  The link of Weapon Styles - Draw-Sheathe animations mod will be added to the recommand mod.

In that case, there is a high chance that the preset I made is not compatible with the IED you are using. It was made a long time ago, so it may not be compatible with the latest IED... If you check the requirements, it says Immersive Equipment Displays 1.6.3, so I would have made it based on 1.6.3 when I made it. Please refer to this part.

Hi, when i try to install this IED says: Parser errors occured while processing data. It is not recommended to proceed with the import. Check the log for more info. I can't personally find the log and installed all the required mods for this preset. What could be going wrong?
