Deepbottom Diaries Chapter 3-4
Added 2021-02-24 14:42:55 +0000 UTCHey readers. I updated Deepbottom Diaries with Chapter 3 and 4. 3 is very brief, a diary entry from Nathalie, Daphne's best friend. Chapter 4 is third person, and it's not finished yet. The next part will include some story about the mother and the son. I wasn't as productive this month as I wanted to be, mostly because I wasted too much time writing to dead-ends in Padme stories.
On that note, sorry, but there isn't a new Padme story. Padme's Younglings has been something I've struggled with for years now. It's just a big mess and with few exceptions I don't really like much of it. I'm considering a few ideas of what to do, but part of the problem is just running out of stream of retreading the same space over and over. I'm happy with Junior Jedi Academy and enjoy working on it, and refining it, but Younglings never got to that point, it just got more convoluted. It's tricky to do much with Padme since she's a senator and needs to be a senator. So she's always drawn back to the same places. It gets pretty dull to write after a while. I have some notions for what I'll do but I need to develop and flesh them out first.
Next month I'll keep at Deepbottom and do some more work with Junior Jedi, probably with Rey in the mix.
