[NEWS] Padme's Motherly Touch
Added 2020-08-19 14:08:21 +0000 UTCSo as I'm developing and writing Padme's Motherly Touch, I was wondering about the direction I was taking it in. If I was straying too much into Clone Wars territory, or the more typical Star Wars tropes with conspiring bad guys, big armies and political stuff, when it should be more about Padme being a mother, trying to raise her boys and acting more like a mom.
That said, there would still be adventures, just not galactic scale ones. I wouldn't set it at the apartment much, that setting is growing tired for me. But maybe Padme takes the boys to the zoo, or the movies. Or they go visit grampa or an amusement park. Stuff that's more relatable in our world, but with some Star Wars twists like a giant space rhino breaks loose at the zoo or the amusement park in space starts leaking air or whatever. Maybe Padme takes the kids out for beebleberry icecream and they stop a mugging or something. Sound good? Sound better than where I was headed before?
