W40k - Knight Scion Character Design
Added 2021-08-14 00:19:37 +0000 UTCJust going through the design motions for my next character. I've got their personality/loose backstory, now its looks time.
"Second in line to a noble Knight family, she was not meant to inherit the seat. Her beloved older sibling was meant to be the pilot, while she instead was to be the bright face of the family. Trained to excel in swordsmanship and charm, she would have embraced the military and her family's duty to Tera as a warrior and leader.
Whatever future she might have had was shattered when her sibling did not survive the Ritual of Becoming. From the moment of their death, she was wrenched from her path and instead forced to follow a future she did not want. A future she grew to resent and loath, for it reminded her every dawn and every dusk that her life would always be missing a friend.
Seething with anger, grief, and hurt, She conquered the Throne and ascended to pilot the knight, but holds her duty with a contempt that is not common among the other highly esteemed and revered pilots."
We don't know what combat will look like yet, but I'm going to try and play a more savage/melee(?) force.
EDIT: Narrowed it down to two of the designs and slapped on some color. I'll have her Named and wrapped up today, then onto doing some character studies for the afternoon.
