Here is another update on what I've been working on!

So last week  I've spend most of my time refining the the wrestle mini-game, as described in my previous post. And for this I made some full screen illustrations, as well as several HUD-elements  for the mini-game itself.

And altogether, this is what I have now.

The idea for this mini-game is that you keep clicking on the bars at top. This will  push the hands foreward. And by clicking faster then your opponent, you will eventually manage to 'take down' your opponent.

Now you're not really playing the girls here, but clicking on the bars represents encouraging them, by yelling positive things. And so your mouse will be a speech bubble here.

To give you a better idea of how this all works, I made a simple animation of the mini-game itself.  I hope you like it!

Now as you can see,  at the end there is a big illustration for the takedown. But this isn't the only one you'll get to see. Each match will in fact have 4 unique takedown-illustrations... Which are pretty fun to draw I must admit :)    

Oh -and the girls are of course wrestling in classic olympic style, so there will be no training suits here!

All and all the whole minigame is shaping up nicely.  But I still need to make some remaining elements, such as the character poses for the actual wrestling -and some vicory poses.

Lune will also be there - keeping track of the rounds & scores. So she'll need some extra poses as well.

Well... time to get drawing again :)
