A storage room full of code :)

Hey everyone!

I'm almost done with the new game-release, and currently I'm spending most of my time coding. And so today I wanted to share a bit more on that process :)

Code

Now in this part of the story, Keen will change the Storage Room into a Gym. But before that transformation is all done, the Storage Room will have many different versions (with more or less gym stuff in it). And during each state of the room, keen can of course walk into it.

And this has lead to a quite complex 'room script'. So just for the fun of it, I'd like to show you how this looks.

Now one of the things that made it quite tricky, is that the stories in the game can be played in the order you choose. So it was for example important to keep the mailbox here, accessible at all times...and if you clean out the storage room, you of course have to get all items that were available there... Well, getting that right took a lot of planning, haha :)

And yes, then there is also a final bit of art to share!

Towards the end of this game-update the wrestlers will be doing some warming up excercises in the gym. And right now that looks like this... :)

Now just before I started writing this, I was detailing the sketch above. And this is where I'm at now.

Well, I should probably try to finish that now. But I hope you like where this is going :)
