The fires are just so devastating and thoughts and prayers for safety and the months ahead in the clean up. I’m enjoying Love Scout like seems a lot of others are also. I’ve have picked a C Drama up as well and watching The Princess Royal. Quite light which is nice for an in between watch. Namib is also in there. Not sure how I feel about it yet.

I really hope it improves soon Late to posting this weekend but have had a lot of drama time and will do for next few weeks too YAY ME WHEN THE PHONE RINGS - my thanks to Patreon finale thread which helped me so much get out from WTF-town where the drama led me. However I still loved how this drama made me feel episodes 1-10 so I’m sticking with those memories. And hey, we will always have Argan to use as a take the piss term whenever kdrama decides to go all Uk on us again. LOVE SCOUT. - this drama is like my fantasies all wrapped up in one. Someone who watches when you need to eat and drink, who organises your mess, who is a great daddy, who is a great cook, who delivers what he promises too. I mean!! The kdrama umbrella scene with a Pink Fong design has me chuckling too! WHEN THE STARS GOSSIP - I’m not a big bonkers drama fan, I’m one of those that didn’t love the amount of WTF in Tale of the Nine Tailed so although I have a huge Oh Jung Se crush from these episodes I’m not sure I’m gonna last the ride. I could handle the fruit flies mating and being told why this important but the wringing out the pathos on the mouse heart for 5 mins had me 🙈🙈 CHECK IN HANYANG - this is an enjoyable if slightly predictable body swap historical still giving me big a Sungkyunkwan Scandal vibes I’m not convinced on main leads chemistry I think the FL has better with the SML personally but happy to keep watching BE MELODRAMATIC- I finally finished this drama after it has been keeping me company over lunch for many months now. It’s not a binge type drama much more a character drama with lots of meta drama within a drama in jokes which I loved. The writing is so smart and I loved a drama with female friendships that didn’t at ant point descend into silliness over a man, but felt like the authentic supportive girl friendships I have. Bravo. I started a new lunchtime drama DIVORCE ATTORNEY SHIN which was Erin’s underrated drama of the year from 2023. We like similar dramas so I figured I needed to give it a go and having just watched and loved Cho Seung Woo in Steanger I was happy to return to this. He plays a quirky character so well, and makes them so immediately likeable. Am already enjoying and only on episode 2. I also started MOTEL CALIFORNIA as a big Lee Se Young fan I had to. And Na In Woo as a big teddy bear. I’m not the worlds biggest fan of fat suits in kdrama as it always feels fat shaming but so far it’s ok for me, especially as it was clear she loved him from the start and it wasn’t like he had to be thin for her to love him. Agree with Stuart LSY in dark eye makeup is FIRE. I was undecided on what to watch next as my older drama and thank you all those who threw me suggestions on my Instagram page. One of them was EXTRAORDINARY YOU which I had planned to watch for awhile now. It’s so wild to watch a drama with Rowoon, Lee Jae Uk, Kim Young Dae and Jung Gun Joo (who is currently in Check in Hanyang - and he’s so grown into his looks and body!!) it’s very Lovely Runner esque which is good and bad for me cos there were things that annoyed me in LR which are worse in EY. I am loving how invested Lee Jae Uk is in this role and falling for him badly despite the raging Red flags cos Rowoon has the charisma of Magnolia wall paint so far. I have also done a trade with Gavin where he watches Taxi Driver and in exchange I am watching Weak Hero Class, cos I struggle with school and bully dramas but I will persist!! You guys are also making me want to watch SIX FLYING DRAGONS. ugh. 😩
