1. I am your fan FOR SURE!! 2. Reading a really interesting book called Machiavelli for Women, by an NPR reporter. She talks about how women lighten up emails instead of getting straight to the point. While it sucks, it works (per an academic who studies this stuff). When women and men send the EXACT SAME EMAIL and it’s no fluff, men get a positive response and women don’t. 3. The more I hear about Unknown the more intrigued I am. BUT - let’s please call things as they are. Incest among adopted siblings is incest, period (not incest light). It never makes it ok that they are not related by blood.

2024-05-24 10:07:34 +0000 UTCI loved the discussion at the opening. I am watching Girls on Fire - Korean reality singing competition and the talent is amazing. Anyhoo one of the contestants messed up her song and finished the performance apologizing. The judge I liked best said two things 1) imperfection is it's own beauty and 2) never apologize for a performance because you're taking something away from the the person who enjoyed it by doing so. The second point really resonated with the conversation this morning. Sometimes life lessons come to you from multiple sources all at once!
