I am mildly obsessed. I’ve been happily rewatching the first few episodes while waiting for the new ones to come up. Honestly haven’t laughed so hard at a show in a long time.

2022-10-03 12:46:32 +0000 UTCFinished Love Between Fairy and Devil! 36 episodes! Whew! First xianxia under my belt, yeah! The ending of this epic fantasy cdrama, like the endings of many kdramas, was weaker than the show’s beginning, but I thoroughly enjoyed it all. Pacing was its main problem, followed by the FL’s voice/infantalization (sic), but the demon king ML, the other characters, the costumes, the scale (hundreds and hundreds of years), the magic, the battles, and THE DRAGONS all kept me engaged until the very last minute. My favorite episodes are 9, 18, and 31. 28 is great, too. I feel the story ended at 31, but they pulled a Lord of the Rings and epilogued the heck outta things to update to a HEA for contemporary audiences. Which I am totally fine with! Because…sigh. ❤️🌙🧚♀️❤️ Will definitely rewatch. Gave up on If You Wish Upon Me. I’m so glad people are saying JCW’s “back,” but I just couldn’t get into this one. Also DNF’d Psychopath Diary. Which means I need a new show to watch immediately! Yay!

Kind of predictable plot so far, but it's moving along quickly, and the two leads have really believable chemistry as long time best friends. I can't stop thinking of them as the zombie and Son Oh Gong from A Korean Odyssey.

But they’re gonna have to do a lot of work to make this second male lead more appealing for me. I agree it would be great if they DONT do the love triangle. I’d just be shocked.

2022-10-01 16:58:29 +0000 UTCI enjoyed Good Job - especially after watching Bossam. Yes complete fluff but loved lead chemistry. Think writing / production fell apart a bit - but read how ML actor brought his own necklace, blanket camping gear for last scenes!

Will watch to finish Law Café and Good Job; both are ok. If You Wish Upon Me became a little more interesting to watch. JCW always good but it took a while for the story to gel for me.

2022-10-01 01:26:02 +0000 UTCLast week’s cliffhanger for Little Women was soooo good! I’m worried that episode 8 will be a tough act to follow – but I’ll definitely be watching. If You Wish Upon Me is down to the last 2 episodes, and part of me wants to put them off because I’m not ready to say goodbye to these characters. I’m caught up on Love in Contract, but I’m not in love yet. I like dark comedy, but I feel like the show is just dark with a little comedy sprinkled on top. It’s still early and the love triangle is just getting started. Netflix is now showing Flower of Evil and I really want to watch it, but I’m scared! 😨

I’ve loved seeing JCW back on form and have loved his scenes with Song Dong Il - plenty of tears with this one - have really enjoyed. I watched the first 2 Love in Contract it really wasn’t the fluffy RomCom I was expecting and what we got instead I’m intrigued by so I’ll keep watching and see how it pans out, I do love the cast, just not quite sure what the drama is and if I actually like it but I’m all here for Gay BFF HomCha policeman ❤️ Im more episodes into Todays Webtoon and finding out about Webtoons and artists/writers stories strangely fascinating- another drama that wasn’t like what I thought it would be like. I may start Law Cafe!

Also live watch some show: Blind-this one is dark and wasn’t really what I was expecting but I like it! Law Cafe- I’m really enjoying this one. Love the leads and the supporting cast is pretty great too. Love in Contract- this has really interesting and I’m looking forward to see how they progress the story. I’m sooo not interested in a live triangle. Young Actors Retreat- is delightful!
