Post-release thoughts, plans and patched v0.5c

Welcome newcomers, thanks for your interest. I'm writing a public post after every big update, so here we go.

First.

I've updated the last version to 0.5c:

• Bugs fixed
• "Groria"->"Gloria" and other fixes 
• Esther can (25-100%) fuck up her cooking quest  now, and you can spank her for that (a little set of 6 animations)
• (｡◝‿◜｡) 

This will be the last fix for a while, as I'm moving to create the bigger patch for Gloria.

Speaking of update.

My new PC arrived and I've successfully assembled it! Thanks again for your support.

I'll post a rant about the process below, as not everyone is gonna be interested in my butthurt.

Moving to the new system is mostly done (programs, games, social, RenPy, testing). Now I need to do the manual install of the animation software, mods, plugins, and all that. This will take a while, but I hope to start making the patch closer to the next weekend.

About the content:

The next update (or two) is gonna be pure Gloria. She's entering the 3d phase and I'll focus on making it complete before I introduce new girls. There will be at least 2 more of them, but I'll talk about it later when Gloria's part is done.

The major part of the Harem route is done. I'll come back to it once I get to the butt-stuff, after one of the new girl's training starts (so, not very soon).

There's also a thing I want to do once I create the whole university setup: I want Maya to selflessly take care of Esther's needs after a certain point while they are studying.

And vice versa.

But for now: it's all Gloria. And she's gonna work her ass off a lot, literally.

A new set of rules, new buffs, new people, new events, new office backgrounds (most likely), and all that. Once I sort my software out of course. Then I'll have a more detailed plan and report back to you.

As always, as soon as I start making the bigger patch - most of the posts are gonna be Patrons only. So, if you are interested in the news, or want to see a random lewd pic - subscribe!

They call PC assembling a "LEGO for adults", and that's true. I wasn't this excited for a long time. It's a fun thing to do.

Before you get to the software part. (ꐦ ಠ皿ಠ )

This time I tried doing it "the right way": went to Microsoft's site and created the boot-flash with Win10 using their tool. Everyone can use it for free, right? Long story short: 3 hours later and I still can't make it to install. I've updated the bios, I've tried different flash-drives and so on, nothing.

Fuck it, I'll do it the old way - torrented the Win10 image-file, used the good old Rufus to make a flash. 20 minutes and the system is ready to work.

What the fuck, Microsoft?

Butthurt 2:

It's a new, faster PC, right? So, what am I gonna do first? Of course, play some games a little bit! At least to test the whole thing. I'm not much into overclocking, but I played with that too, mostly auto-mode.

All the basic things installed, I hop into DIscord to play with a friend of mine. 5 minutes in, my mic quality goes to shit. Scratching my head, probably a cord problem, right? I try different slots, it's fine for a minute or two, then back to shit. I chew my cord, nothing. After a while, I notice that it starts working like crap when we start a game. WTF? Maybe something-somehow is draining power from the audio-line once the CPU starts working heavily? Googling does nothing.

After several hours of back and forth searching, switching slots and trashing the cord...I go to the motherboard's site and download a native audio driver. Works like a fucking charm! Turns out Win10 pre-installed drivers for even integrated audio are trash.

What the fuck, Microsoft ?!

Anyway.

It's kinda funny and sad, that even after 8 years of me not dealing with any new hardware, and not needing to deal with the software too - it's still a shitshow. Kinda nostalgic.

Wonder how many more bullshit I'm gonna encounter in the future. (҂⌣̀_⌣́)
