Hello!
We are spending two weeks in San Diego, everyday we row to shore to work on Markle from cafes. Having some downtime from traveling is nice, the project is moving forward. Here is what we worked on these past few days:
The goat
The goat character will give hints to the player to help solve puzzles. The hints will form on his body, we liked the idea of the goat's face dissolving and re-forming as a new character. A lot of the mechanics in Markle will play with this idea.
We worked on some new tiles, like the buttons to open doors (image in the top of the post). The main character's mask will serve as the 'key'.
Release
This is the first time that we work on a cross-platform release. We're planning to bring the game on Steam, and Android, and possibly Playstation Mobile. This will allow us to also release Oquonie on other platforms as well, but more on this, later.
