Technically the only "variants" we have seen so far is the bloater from Hershel's well. They really don't touch onto the variant walkers until like the last season and then they wasted that with the spinoff show for just 1 season lol

Lurkers are walkers that stay quiet or dormant until something nearby startles them or wakes them up, and they attack, like the one that bit Hershel. That would explain instances where they seem to come out of nowhere. There will be other variants as you guys go through the seasons, but if you remember back in season 1, some of them used rocks to break the store's glass doors, and Duane's mom was turning the doorknob of the house they were staying at, suggesting that some walkers keep some "intelligence".

2025-09-02 00:11:01 +0000 UTCOff topic, but about the super man thing, basically kryptonite isn’t his weakness per say, it just emits a unique radiation, that make his cells not absorb and process our sun’s energy (our sun, is what gives superman his “powers” because its a yellow sun, whilst Kryptons sun is red). It essentially acts as cellular poisoning, basically making him a normal human being, technically as if he was on his own planet. I’m saying it ain’t his weakness because he doesn’t die from it, he just doesn’t have his powers which enables him to take damage, so I guess it is his weakness 😅🥲
