The English sub does it kinda dirty but basically its a move that leaves the caster open to counter attack due to the direct melee striking range. The Sharingan isnt needed just for the cause of it but for its ability to predict enemy movement. So that you dont get hit when using the technique. Later it gets explained a bit more in depth. Since its rlly trivia and no big info I think its no big spoil. But still… Mini trivia spoiler ahead Its basically stated that you should have atl two tomoe (those pointy black dots) in your sharingan to be able to use it relatively safe. So since Sasuke has them at this point of the show hes basically rdy for the jutsu

Ron is right; this is nowhere close to peakness. I'm trying not to give too much away, but Naruto feels like training wheels, and literally episode 1 of Shippuden the gloves come off.

Brandon is elite reaction predictor, but goes overboard with sibling immaturity/rebellious habits and Ron(and Rice) are terrible with most predictions, but has a more chill approach outside of wanting everything to die like a psychopath lol. Dynamic is dope.

2025-05-03 04:01:42 +0000 UTCEveryone can technically learn summoning technique. Some can summon bigger creatures (this takes a lot of chakra), but not everyone can use Chidori. You need high Speed + Sharingan. Only reason Kakashi could use Chidori is because he has Sharingan to control it, if he didn't have it, he wouldn't be able to use/develop Chidori, which would mean Chidori wouldn't exist... unless someone else figured it out later as time passes. So Kakashi was able to create his own "specialty jutsu" similar to how other Shinobi are known for their own jutsus they've created in the past that are used today, as we learn later on ;D

2025-05-02 23:27:22 +0000 UTCyou already seen multiple characters do summoning jutsu you saw Omicharu summon snakes and saw Kakashi summoned dogs when faced Zabuza. also Kakashi's Lightning Blade that he used against Zabuza is Sasuke's Chidori they just named different. Lightning Blade/Chidori is Kakashi's very own original created jutsu who he can teach it to anyone he wants. but there is somethings about it that can't be said cause of spoiler that you will learn later on. also Rock Lee was taught the 8 Inner Gates and the Lotus from Guy you already learned that so Rock Lee was given something. just to kinda help you remember and maybe help understand alittle Brandon just to clarify. glad you really getting into the show though really enjoying your watch along with Ron. 2025-05-02 22:24:22 +0000 UTCJust a little bit of clarity on jutsus, they have to be created, taught and therefore "passed down" from one to the next. Some are more common knowledge and are written down (i.e the shadow clone jutsu Naruto learned from the scroll) or taught scholastically as basic techniques. Not everyone can do every jutsu, there are factors like compatibility and/or the ability to simply grasp the technique or even having the necessary amount of chakra. Kakashi literally created chidori and therefore had never taught or passed it down until he decided to with Sasuke and even then was only able to teach him because hes like Kakashi, and because Sasuke, like Kakashi is a "genius" who was able to grasp it. On the other hand, summoning jutsu is something kind of like, you have to be invited into that club almost. Like you have to know someone or have an "in" somehow. It usually has to be passed down, taught, agreed upon by the summoning itself via a contract like the one Naruto signed when Jaraiya first started teaching him otherwise without those parameters the average ninja wouldn't ever be able to "just do it" or learn it out of nowhere. That's what makes certain special jutsu so elite and sought after by other villages who want that power. And then you have the keke genkai (suuuper special) techniques only awakened by a few who have that special bloodline and natural affinity like the sharingan and byakugan. Sorry that was a long explanation but hopefully it helps to understand the power scaling and individuality of abilities within the characters. Last thing, Kakashi creating chidori is a BIG deal. Only exceptionally great shinobi can do that. GVG!
