I know you guys probably don’t know a lot about hunting but in most states, you are required by law to wear a blaze orange vest for that very reason when hunting big game such as deer with firearms Plus Carl was behind the deer to Otis POV and the deer was probably a little taller covering Carl completely especially if Otis was on lower ground compared to the deer. It’s also the end of the world, so what are the odds someone out surviving hunting for food even expects to run into others in the woods hunting lol
