PROGRESS REPORT 2.09.25

...it really has been two months since the last progress report, sheesh!

I've been a little busy the last two months--lots of new merch coming, the monthly Copic challenge, and comics! Let's go over what's happening:

MERCHANDISE: There's going to be a shift from fighting games to Final Fantasy, Like a Dragon, and...OCs. 😮 Regulars of my stream will tell you that I've been cooking designs for my OCs lately, and this won't be stopping anytime soon! I plan on integrating them bit-by-bit as a lead-up to their comics!
The reason for this shift is largely due in part to the likelihood I may not be doing Fight game tournaments this year--I'm no longer going to apply for Combo Breaker, and it's largely because I can't afford it. I will be applying for CEO as it's a little more budget-friendly, but whether I get in or not remains to be seen--and if I don't get in, I'm not gonna sweat it. I will run the online shop again this summer and sell my FG goods through there (albeit on a limited capacity as I still don't have a car).

I'll also mention this--all funds earned through patreon goes into the merch and art supplies. I'm still able to produce these goods thanks to your support. c: 

As I've mentioned in the past, I want to move towards more practical goods (stationery, accessories) on top of comics so that y'all get something that will last longer. While I have acrylic charms currently in production (Like a Dragon), I will be offering fewer designs as acrylic charms as they're rather pricey and I want to move towards items with a more practical use. With the tariffs going into effect, it will mean that the expenses for these items will be greater, but I have no intention of passing this on to anyone (and for certain tiers of supporters y'all will get these for free anyway).

FINAL FANTASY HOST CLUB: I've been talking about this off and on for a while, and as of this writing, the first phase of planning has begun for this project. I've picked out a small number of characters to start with, and may add more if the idea takes off. I'll be working out what pieces of merch and what "memberships" will receive those pieces, as well as working out a story for each host! More deets on this will be made available in spring!

COMICS: The FFXV fancomics are coming along as planned--this Saturday's update will be a lot more loaded compared to last month! I'll go into more details about this when that progress report drops on the 15th.

My original comics are slowly underway--as of this writing, layouts for the first episode are done. I'm still working on a slice-of-life zine, and I'm working on notes for a one-shot. Once the ongoing original comic is far enough along its development, I'll begin a series of progress reports like with the FFXV fancomic!

With the current administration really fucking around, I'm working on finding ways to continue providing the work y'all have been supporting. Please look forward to future updates!
