PROGRESS REPORT: Darkstalkers Stickers Storytime

Good news--the Darkstalkers stickers that were promised ages ago are finally here! All patrons who reserved a set will be notified and will receive their stickers soon!

So, what happened? Why did it take so long?

In early February, I placed an order with Rockin Monkey to make these stickers. I've ordered from them in the past, since 2021, and while they had a slow turnaround time (about 2 weeks from when I ordered and approved my proofs to when I received my stickers), they typically produce great quality work--the Morrigan sticker was made through them.

However, this order did not go smoothly. At first, it seemed fine--I placed my order, and received my proofs within 12 hours.
A week went by, and I didn't get any notification that the stickers shipped. Hmm.
Another week went by. Still nothing.
Another week. Nope.
Another week went by, and I still heard nothing. At that point, I went over to my other manufacturer, StickerApp, to place the same order (plus Jon Talbain).

...I received proofs, a shipping notice, and my stickers within a week of placing the order. It took StickerApp six days.

Last week, I contacted Rockin Monkey with a concern about my order. I was told I'd receive a reply within 24-48 hours.

As of this writing, they have not responded, and I have contacted them again politely demanding that if they do not reply to me by the 48-hour mark (as they assured me that they would reply in 24-48 hours...just like the first time), I would demand a refund. We'll see what happens from there.

If I don't hear from them, I'll be requesting a refund (and if they ignore that message, I'm going to demand it by way of a chargeback.). I should have contacted them sooner in all honesty, but I kept holding out hope that they'd produce the stickers since I figured maybe they were overwhelmed with convention season starting to ramp up and as they were a smaller sized business compared to StickerApp. Oh, how I wish that was the case.

I'm honestly disappointed. Rockin Monkey was always pretty good to me in the past. I'm not sure why they've dropped the ball so hard, and not only will I no longer be using their services moving forward, I am going to recommend that people do NOT use them for their stickers.
