Nevertheless, whenever she demanded he take her out, he couldn't say no...though she made him stand for hours outside different fitting rooms and haul her ever-growing collection of bags up and down endless aisles of clothes. It made her happy to have him wait upon her, and when all was said and done, whatever made her happy made him happy too...
