I grew up in a small town where the mechanic/biker or “greaser” look is extremely common and I remember watching alright ok and thinking he would have fit right in. Given I started skating the year after Dylan’s passing so I never got to appreciate his style and the hype surrounding him organically like most did. Elijahs fake stee is the the main thing I dislike ab his attributes, I actually think he fits the look.

I always envisioned this was an impossible nose blunt attempt, as there were plenty of photos of Dylan noseblunting tables. I feel like Dylan never managed to claim the impossible noseblunt on the picnic table and Berle swooped it after Dylan's passing. I could be looking into it too much.

Like there were some arguments that I was waiting for you to touch on but you only brought them up when it thematically fitted best. Regarding the Impossible Noseblunt: I remeber reading/hearing Elijah say that he did it in the first 1-3 tries and the another cameraman was still setting up the second angle.

Elijah is like a big budget remake of a classic that everyone loves, he's an amazing skater but it just comes across all wrong. If anything this part made me grossed out by vans just as much. Elijah is like a marvel movie. You hit the nail on the head dylan was the chosen one and were all lost without him.

On the otherhand, Elijah is jacked and has the complete opposite build as him. There's no way Elijah is comfortable in his clothes or in his fake steeze.
