I wanted to try something a little different. This story is first person for once, and I tried to keep it a little vague due to the circumstances. I hope it works!
I've also written a version without reference to messing; I figure it could be a roadblock to some people, and provided it isn't an essential part of a story, it can't hurt to edit and change sections to keep it cleaner. If this is something you'd like me to continue doing, please do let me know. :)
