The News

TL;DR I will no longer be posting stories to Futanari Palace. Now, move on to the next bold subtitle for a treat.

Let me start by saying this as clearly as I can: This is not an attempt to get any attention, just an honest explanation of what is going to happen.

I have been a member of FP since 2008, I have seen the palace at its brightest days (storyteller111 and SRB’s stories come to mind) and its darkest (there were talks about shutting FP down before Echoen saved it). I wish FP all the best and hope it will flourish for many more years.

It is after a deep and long process that I have come to the understanding that FP is no longer right for me. I can trace the root of this decision to the time I wrote the second year of Alene Raven. I started noticing my work gets little to no reaction.

This issue is a well-known one throughout the internet, we’ve all been leaches at one point or another, the problem starts when the only feedback you get is negative one. I know my writing is not the best, that is why I always look to improve. When the 2018 story contest rolled around I created Love Yourself and it is, in my eyes, one of the best stories I wrote. Yet it only got two negative reviews. Don’t get me wrong, it’s ok to give bad reviews but I got to 7th place, shouldn’t there be at least one good review?

Now you might be saying: That’s the way the internet is Neolime, don’t take it personally.

Let me tell you that I am not taking this personally, but I have a Literotica and a Hentai Foundry user and I’ll tell you how Love Yourself did there. Over at Literotica it got a rating of 4.44 out of 5 with 3500 views, and over at Hentai Foundry it has almost 2000 views and is a favorite of 9 users.

You can see it again with All the Way. FP hardly reacted (1078 views, 6 thank you and 1 comment) compared with Literotica (4500 views, 4.62 out of 5 and 1 comment) who labeled the story HOT. this is no an isolated incident it is a recurring theme .

This led me to the following decision, I will no longer be posting my stories to FP. you will still find them elsewhere (Literotica, Hentai Foundry, Archive of Our Own and obviously here) just not at FP. I feel like that place does not give back the investment I have put into it over the years. I do wish FP all the best and had a good time there, but I feel I have outgrown that place.

The Raffle

I must admit that I am super hyped about this, we are having a raffle!

Now, this raffle is kind of complex (for me) so let’s start by setting the base terms clearly.

It starts today 15/02/19 and will end 10/04/19. Anyone over the legal limit (18 or 21, depends on where you live) can take part in the raffle. 

What’s the prize? Year three of Alene Raven will have a commission episode (just like the second year). The winner of the raffle will receive that commission and will decide what happens in said chapter.

All you have to do in order to enter the raffle is write a short comment to this post telling me what you would like to do with the cast of Alene Raven’s New Life (please note there will be no Male x futa, vore, gore, anal and character death etc.). If you want to go overboard and post 40% of an chapter go for it but all you need to enter is a line or two.
