Callisto 0.40 - Week 9 Update

Video card has been processing animation frames continuously for the last couple of weeks now. There are about 150 frames left to be rendered (1755 frames completed to date), which should be completed in about 2 days. Currently I have been doing the still shots that surround these animations, as well as the scenes around the main story. Still remaining to be created is a scene in the hold and a couple of scenes in the kitchen. As a recent decision, I will also include an additional scene at Pleiades Station which will round out the completion of the main story for v0.40. The hold scene and the station scene should each take about a day to pose, whilst the kitchen scenes use existing images already in the game (just a little coding required). Hence I should be on track to release the beta towards the end of next week.

In relation to the beta, I am still in need of a couple more beta testers. As my Patreons, I am happy to give you the first opportunity to register your interest. What this role entails is to play the game with each new release and advise any errors or inconsistencies. In addition, creative feedback on the content in the release and where it is headed. These testing roles are open to any active Patreons. $10 Patreons, whom also will receive the beta release are also welcome to provide feedback. The easiest method of contact me to register interest will be via the Discord channel, however contact via Patreon messaging is also fine.

Onto a more sombre note, Covid still wrecks havoc around the planet. Thankfully in my location we have largely been spared from the full impact. You may have noticed that the billing was once again suspended at the start of this month. Currently there are no Daz assets of particular interest that require purchase for the game. As such, the creation of the game is not costing me anything, outside the power bill and my time. I'll switch off Patreon billing next month as well, however at some time I will have to turn back on, as it is my only source of income.

Looking forward to the ship content, I have a number of items I want to include in v0.40, which I hope I can squeeze in the 3-4 weeks I have assigned. As a brief list, the following are intended:

None the above is particularly complicated to implement, however requires a fair bunch of renders and likely a few animations.
