Callisto 0.40 - Week 2 Update

These funds are currently being re-invested into the game, via the procurement of additional Daz3D assets. Currently on the shopping list are a few Victorian assets, to be used in the side quest in 0.40. Don't worry, I know Callisto is a sci-fi game, however the Victorian assets will make sense, I assure you.
With each week, I gain a little more experience in creating the content for the game. I have recently changed the methodology by which I create content. Previously I would create all of the images / animations and then code and write the story. These days, I have switched the order slightly by progressively coding / writing throughout the creation period. Hence I'm creating images / animations knowing the exact dialogue that will relate to those images. This has the benefit of being able to create the image to exactly match the dialogue (mainly facial expressions). Additionally, this removes the need to go back and create additional images to fill in gaps in the dialogue. This slightly improves quality and speed of creation.
The first week of this cycle was spent bug fixing 0.30, creating characters and environments. This week I have been working of the first portion of the main story line. As a bit of a plan for myself for this cycle:
Week 1 - Characters / Sets (completed)
Week 2 - Liberation of Dione - location 1 (currently 70%)
Week 3 - Liberation of Dione - location 2
Week 4 - Liberation of Dione - location 3
Week 5 / 6 - Animations
Week 7 / 8 - Ship Content
Week 9 - Beta Testing / Side Mission
Week 10 - Release
Coding wise the side mission is pretty much stand alone, hence it is unlikely to cause any bug concerns. This is why it can be done in parallel with the beta testing. Also the beta testers are also playing the full game with the exception of a little distraction they can play after the release.
