Had a few other matters to attend to this week, so I have spent less time developing the game than I usually would. Despite this though, the following has been completed.
- Renders for the first step in the Battle of Dione main story line event. Still have 2 more steps to do for 0.3.
- Martial arts animations for Kara and Kara / Rachel. With scene optimisation (minor quality loss), have managed to get these down to 3 minutes per frame on my GTX1060.
- Some minor bug fixing for the beta released a couple of weeks ago. Thanks to Cookie for identifying.
- Investigation in to audio editing. Need the ability to customise sounds to have them match the amplitude and length of the corresponding animation.
Plans for next week is to pose the bulk of the animations. That way I can ensure an extended render queue, such that my GPU can stay fully occupied. I'm hoping to release 0.3 this year, however Christmas is rapidly approaching. I want to make sure all the content planned for 0.3 is included, hence it might slip into early next year. The remaining activities to be completed are:
- Liberation of Dione steps 2 and 3.
- TV renders in captain's room (accessed from couch). Initially will have a news channel.
- Lia lewd content.
- Minor Kara and Tiffany lewd content.
- Alice backstory - part 1.
- Other minor tweaks and coding.
